olá 🇵🇹 hello 🇬🇧 hallo 🇩🇪
My name is Marta and I am a Lisbon-based Product Designer
I spent over 10 years surrounded by science - I studied nutrition & public health and worked for 2 years in this field.
In 2023, I moved into product design, bringing research-driven decision-making, a methodical way to solve problems, and strong organisational skills.
I’ve been called a bit of a nerd, I like my design files organised, components documented and to follow design systems and style guides to a T.
I’m a big fan of collaboration and love to exchange ideas regularly with developers and product team.
in life
I love Lisbon and Eça de Queirós is my favourite writer. One of my bucket list goals is to read all of his books. 🚃📚
I’m an active gal, I fell in love with yoga as a teenager and with the gym in my early twenties. 🏋🏽♀️🧘🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️ Would love to eventually run a marathon but I do have bad knees so I don’t know if I’ll ever get there.
I started learning German by myself in 2018 but only enrolled in a course in 2023. I’m currently on a B2 and hope to become ~close to~ fluent by 2025. Los gehts! 🇩🇪🗣️
at work
I’ve gathered experience as an in-house designer, redesigning products and improving their UX through research and stakeholder feedback.
